I wouldn't worry about it too much, when they're locked in (and healthy) they're still the best defensive team in the league.

True. Although full squad is kinda back already so I'll give it another month before worrying. Jason Thompson is soooo trash btw. I really thought he could give us something. Any team that gives him significant minutes will suck.

Warriors had a 95.8 defensive rating (ranked #3) playing at the 3rd fastest pace in the league (101.8 possessions per 48 mins)
Heat had a 95.4 defensive rating (ranked #2) playing at the 27th fastest pace in the league (96.1 possessions per 48 mins)
Spurs had a 93.8 defensive rating (ranked #1) playing at the 26th fastest pace in the league (96.4 possessions per 48 mins)
Just goes to show just how historically great y'all defense is when you have a defensive rating that is near-equal to teams that play at such a slow pace.
Last season yall dudes played at the fastest pace, yet had the #1 ranked defense - which is literally unheard of - certainly in the modern era. Typically the best defensive team is usually in the bottom-10 in terms of pace.
