the weather.. the virus doesn't like warm weather and it has been proven to affected by malaria medication which is something sub saharan africans have probably used in their life. the understanding of why isn't straight forward but it also isn't melanin...

The diseases of the past can offer resistance to the diseases of the future. If it's been affected by malaria medication, then it might be affected by built-up genetic resistance to malaria cf. the source of sickle-cell.

Similarly, Europe was fukked by the plague during the middle ages, but the plague may have (it's not 100% certain) left a large number of Europeans with a resistance to HIV.

Just a hypothesis.

I don't know about the warm weather thing. It's hit the middle east and Israel all of which have alot of hot desert territory

Actually no. Even white people find mixed kids to be more attractive than fully white children. And most importantly, attractive mixed children are far more common than attractive white children. That lets you know how on average mixed kids are the most genetically fit.

Also I'm not just talking black/white. Asian and black kids are arguably the most attractive. And that's because there is more genetic distance between Africans and Asians than Africans and Europeans. Genetic distance is the key. This has nothing to do with white beauty standards. Sexual attraction goes beyond culture. Its something that is biologically hard wired into us.

Truth....a lot of people are getting into the racial politics but missing the science.

Ever notice how you'll see random white couples having babies with weird random diseases (think Tay Sachs etc)? It's because while white people are much more diverse than Asians and Native Americans, they are waaaaay less genetically diverse than people of African descent.

When other races team up with us, they get a significant boost to their genetic stock versus coupling up with another similar person.

There are 7 major DNA haplogroups (L0, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5 and L6). Africa contains all of them (I actually descend from L2).

The small group of people that left Africa came from L3. Everyone in the world that's not African, comes from one branch of a 7 branch tree. Europeans and Middle Easterns are second in line in terms of diversity. As you move east....the amount of genetic diversity shrinks.

That's why Europeans were able to wipe out 90% of Native Americans with smallpox. The lack of genetic diversity meant that EVERYONE was susceptible to the same illnesses. If the Natives had genetic diversity, only some of them would have died.

Euros barely had to use guns. It's also why Europeans thought North America was "theirs." Most of the Native population was already gone by the time of Pocahontas/John Smith, the Mayflower etc. Columbus, the Spanish explorers etc., damn near cleared the Americas before the British, French, Scottish/Irish even got here.
