while the current times are relatively peaceful, all it takes is one powder keg to explode and we'll be in the most violent war humanity as seen due to the fact that technology has made war much more devastating. It just takes one domino to fall.

Another source of potential huge conflict is domestic conflict in urban centers. Look at the shift of wealth to the top. Why do you think there is all of this urban control weaponry being developed? Why is everyone being monitored? They know that given current trends, the general population is getting poorer and will eventually get so poor they can't afford sustenance, so that's when they will begin to rebel. This peace now is temporary. Domestic conflict will be huge if things keep going the direction they have been going.

And yet, shyt hasn't popped off. So clearly other things are at play keeping the peace.

Usually people start getting violent when they are starving. Western world is nowhere near close to that and won't be for the forseeable future
