We all agree Earl Sweatshirt is the best young lyricist in Hip Hop right now, right?

Earl Sweatshirt sucks and is boring than a motherfukker. People say J.Cole is nyquil-inducing, well shyt, Earl will put you in a coma 100 times faster. he ain't even the best in his crew (Domo), much less the best young dude out, g t f o h :camby:

I legit don't get his appeal like that. He's cool and all. Just don't think he makes music that is mind blowing or even all that great to listen to on a regular basis :yeshrug:

To each their own :yeshrug:

I disagree but from a technical lyrical standpoint you fronting on him too ?

I agree 100%

Earl went from being overhyped to overlooked. He's easily one of the best mcs out. His music and style is so raw and bold with distinctive artistic vision and his record label is giving hell for it. I remember him saying that when he came back to record his debut, they got a whole song with a pop beat and John Legend hook ready for him:huhldup:

And he became pretty good producer too.:obama:

He's saying a lot. Very intelligent kid, ridiculous levels of introspection at times.

Put me on to a song where he's really spitting?

I haven't listened to much of his shyt since he put that project out when he got home, I heard a bunch of cool rhyming but not much of anything. Felt like Eminem with out the personal substance almost.
