Except on the model you just presented, buyrates is no longer a thing they rely on selling the network..would be cool but not feasible if they are trying to make moneysome people hate on Bischoff for doing this show, but it was a cool gimmick. same thing with the beach shows.
yea they have to sacrifice gate numbers by not being in an arena, but think about it. they do arena shows 99% of the time all year long and at the end of the day a couple hundred thousand dollars of revenue at the gate isn't the big prize with PPV's anyways. all that matters is the PPV buys that generate millions of dollars.
really like the idea of them doing unique shows like this once or twice a year. wish WWE would do something similar. preferably a beach show during the summer.

True, i like the idea, always thought tribute to the troops was a cool setting, that should air live on the networkWWE could easily pull it off once a year. shyt, most of their house show attendance right now is like 2,000-4,000 people. they could make it a "Network Special" and still make what they would have at a regular house show. they could also sell commercial air time to make even more money.
