Word to @Ghee Buttersnaps. No one ever talks about this but the 2 to 3 million viewers left were super loyal and according to WWE's ratings in 2001/2002, they never crossed the line.

It's wild. Literally millions of people who just decided "Guess my Monday nights are free now. :hubie:"

You can still find posts online from around the end of WCW consisting of people saying how trashy WWF is, how they stopped watching it in the early-mid '90s, and how they refuse to watch. They all had the strength none of us do. :whoo:

I wish I could meet those folks and pick their brains. I wonder if they found indies they liked or just stopped fukking with wrestling entirely, cuz they clearly didn't switch over to Raw the following Monday.

They were two distinct audiences. There were definitely less viewers that watched both, than those that were loyal to one or the other.

I think WCW had the older crowd and we know how stubborn they can be.
