I think we should go back to the old format then incorporate the new ranking system. I was more focused when we had set battles each week. And looked forward to hearing everybody's beats.

I feel you on that but I think the votes do seem to somewhat be on the same level has before especially after a few weeks etc. I think at the end of the day, besides the ranking shyt which is just for show really, it really should be about the community and trying to help one another build and give criticism. I've tried to make it my duty to vote on every WBC/IBF battle too.

Yeah shyt is dead, but Sincere is right, the voting is on the same level, it's just no one is battling and dudes are missing deadlines, etc..
Sincere is right tho, it's about the community at the end of the day. You could see who's into supporting the community and the give and take vs just popping in for a quickie. What u gonna do?

when I first showed up here the tourney was poppin. Then we started a new tourney and had it in the booth, we were gettin 70-80 votes, 2500 views a battle thread.
shyt fell off hard though, IDK the best way to get dudes excited. I know everyone doesn't have time, shyt I got a newborn a new job and a heavy video game addiction and I still participate, but it does make voting hard.

Two many new changes took place too soon. The hype was built up crazy and when shyt ain't go off as planned, the anticipation dropped fast. Battles were popping up outta nowhere and it just a bunch of confusion. Battles that were dope as fukk were getting the bushes treatment.
nikkas tried to make shyt too complex while participating as well. It's a lot to handle and you'll eventually overlook certain things. Just get something simple working consistently and it will gradually grow once cats start seeing the order of things.
At this point, nikkas may as well make a new thread with potential tournament ideas and we create a poll where all the participants can vote on which battle tourney structure they like the best and we all just focus on making that shyt work. This way everybody can have input. It's just a suggestion though.

If this system is too complicated go back to what Tom did but keep the divisions...that way matches are scheduled every week but the competition is on point because of the WBC/IBF divisions. It wasnt a broken system anyway, we just didnt always get the most competitive battles...so lets tweak it and keep this rockin..
