The world changed and shifted so quickly I'm not sure what they could've done. This might be the first gen of kids that don't know or give a fukk who Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are.
Its all about product, and there hasnt really been any.

Disney keeps mickey mouse relevant, nintendo keeps pokemon/mario relevant, nick keeps spongebob relevant, what has wb done for looney tunes? Put them in a game they didnt put support, cancel an anticipated movie they were in for a tax write off, no real tv shows with marketing behind them…nothing.

No, that's not true. The Looney Tunes characters are still around and appear in things (Space Jam 2, Tiny Toons Looniversity, etc). Also, Looney Tunes merchandise still makes lots of money.

All that IP all those characters and WB cant get their shyt together

If you a 90s kid I feel like WB should be where DIsney is.

They had the WB store, WB kids, DC and Looney Tunes animation, plus the prestige of HBO, plus other WB Tv productions (Friends, The WB etc)

Absolute disgust at how badly they mishandle shyt. Yeah Disney got the park and the fairy tale movies that got reach

But I feel like as a kid Looney Tunes was generational.

Its crazy how kids know dont vibe with the greatness of the looney tunes when they previously had weight for decades.

Who are the consumers though cause I still buy shyt that give me nostalgic feelings. Star Wars merchandise makes money but it's definitely not from these new gen kids. These kids cherish Roblox and Minecraft more than anything else now. If I showed them a picture of the Tasmanian devil would they know who he is?

This is a good point. I see it with Sonic, kids know Sonic and Sonic could've easily been a distant memory.

I mean, Taz has never been among the most famous Looney Tunes characters lol. Bugs, Daffy, and Porky are. Many kids still know those characters.

Warner Bros. is Tearing Down the Looney Tunes Building on Their Studio Lot
It should be noted that this isn't a notable building or whatever. It's basically an old decaying building that used to house the Looney Tunes animation team decades ago. They are demolishing it because it's old and they want to expand the lot (and build a new building).

So Deadline is doing some sensationalism here. Warner Bros. is mistreating the Looney Tunes brand severely, but they are NOT going to be selling it. That's not happening.

Correct, looney tunes havent been part of a culturally relevant product in the last generation, really. Space Jam 2 is about the closest but that wasnt a crazy global outreaching hit at all.

That's not entirely true as they've literally still been cranking out Looney Tunes TV shows for years.

The characters you named are the exception and not the norm as we've seen other legacy characters and shows not hit with the younger generations like they used to. Power Rangers and Sesame Street are perfect examples of it.

Sonic has been cranking out video games and movies, so it's not really a fair comparison to Looney Tunes.

A lot of those Looney Tunes characters just don't translate to relevancy these days.
