This is a math problem. I am good at math.

US has about 8% unemployment. Which means 92% of the population (who 'wants to work') is employed 100% of the time (12 months a year).

Instead of 92% of the people working 100 percent of the year, if 100% of the people work 11 months (92% of the year), it's the same amount of work.

Ok...OP didn't specify which country, region or unemployment rate to use. I used the official unemployment rate. You can just substitute your numbers in if you want to include the long-term unemployed. Same mathematical solution.

Forced retirement for anyone old enough to collect SSI benefits. Only exception would be for folks who own or operate their own businesses.

Deport undocumented workers & heavily fine any industry caught using them.

Use Imminent Domain laws to confiscate property from corporations who offshore their money and fine the shareholders who enable them.

Put a "windfall" tax on CEO's, athletes and entertainers and use the money to rebuild American infrastructure.

The biggest factor in our post WWII industrial boom was the lack of competition from Germany and Japan. We need to seriously consider fighting WWIII so we can bomb our competitors back into the stone age.

I think they should make a woman get her tubs tied after her first child if she's getting government assistance and give her a year in assting her in finding a job. Once she gets her a job and can support her own kids financially she can get her tubes untied and never can apply for government assistance again only if it's for food and/or medical for her child. Also, eliminate all the billions of dollars spent on the jail in prison system... it isn't necessary . feed them 3 times a day and let them shower that's it. Them use the money to create jobs.
