This was rough. It was cliche, and the cast has no chemistry. The could've taken it in any direction - hell, use Chestnut as an action hero/intelligent doctor.

I actually liked that show.

Every show he's on he tries to be super sophisticated. I understand why, but history has shown, the audience doesn't stay with it for more than 2 seasons.

Morris is basically a fusion between his character on the Resident and Rosewood but I liked Rosewood as a show better and it deserved more. This show is just ok. But I have to respect Morris for what he is trying to do as an actor and keep that sort of intelligent dignified Black man character in the forefront.
