watching the purge

You know the thing about the Purge is that it's an insanely well crafted movie. From a technical standpoint and as a film product I though it was very well made. It looked great, it moved great... I was engaged (or dare I say pacified) the entire time.

But holy shyt what a ridiculous story and what a ridiculous turn of events. There were so many moments that they made it impossible to completely buy in. Not nearly enough care was put into the script.

But the next one looks pretty .

Maybe the 2nd Movie will be better with it more being Focused on what's going on in the actual City than in 1 Goddamn House.

best part about the movie is when dude is listening to the radio on the way home and people are calling in and saying what they're gonna be doing that purge night.

one dude said he was gonna go hunt down his boss. im sure people are out robbing banks and shyt. they need to diversify for the sequel

Well the sequel looks like what part 1 should've been.

I remember seeing the previews for this and thinking it was going to be amazing to see how something like this affects a society. When i found out it was nothing more than a horror film contained to a single house i was very disappointed. I dont know how you could come up with a premise like that and waste it on a single family.
