I went to see this with my friend, it was his turn to pick the movie we saw. We’d seen plenty of terrible movies before, but that was the only time anyone ever told me “my bad” five minutes into the film.

I begged my moms to order this on Pay Per View as a kid
I used to read Wizard and Gamepro Magazines salivating over the screenshots with anticipatiion leading up to watching this
I saw this shyt on my birthday. I sat down with my slice of birthday cake and ice cream thinking it's bout to go down.....
Bullshyt right off the bat. Immediately noticed the drop i quality from the 1st film. All these random MFs monkey flipping and doing cannonballs out of lightning portals and posing on some Power Ranger putty force shyt
The OG Johnny Cage was subbed out for some basic NPC lookin MF. Bridgette Wilson fine ass was subbed out for some basic karen lookin bytch, and the triple OG Christopher Lambert was subbed out for who I thought was Adam Sessler from G4TV. Jax seemded like a cool breh from what I remember. There should have been more of him in the movie.
They apparently trolled the shyt outta Liu Kangs's actor on some "we'll all jump on the count of three" shyt because they faked his ass out hard. Was the only nikka who returned in good faith. Damn shame.
I think the OG Kitana Actor was in this, I dont remember though.
Shao Kahn at the end of the 1st movie looked like he was going to be unfukkwitable on some Galactus shyt, but in this , they hired some octagon jawed, bodybuilder nikka with a mask that's too big and sounds like he's got strp throat every time he's shouting his monologues about world conquest or whatever the fukk. The nikka's dad looked like he walked off the set of a Hamlet play and shyt
Sheeva looked like Luna Vachon in a fruit rollup bathing suit, Motaro was greasier than a muthafukka, and there was some obvious sexual tension between them
Nightwolf looked like a fake ass Rufio, Nikkas was givin Liu Kang bedroom eyes talkin bout "unleash your animality". fukk is talkin bout. Also Jade lwas mid as fukk

This was up there with Garbage Pail Kids, Masters of the Universe and Supergirl with how I felt after walking out of the theater.
