I do regret not watching Lost when it was on. I binge watched it last year. I cannot imagine the discussions that went on each week over that shyt.:wow:

It depends on the show.

Some great shows like Breaking Bad or The Wire stand on their own, but other great shows like Lost or True Detective only reach "great" status because of the water cooler/internet discussion between episodes. The fan theories were a huge part of those shows appeals.

Anyone who tried to binge watch Lost today would never really understand why the show was great. But watched week-to-week, it WAS great. I would even put X-Files in that category, for the discussion after each "mytharc" episode.

Did this with the walking dead. Ill say this though, shyt will fukk up your entire life. I was late for work, going to bed late, didnt wanna socialise etc..
all that mattered was watching the next episode. You gotta take a week off everything to do this shyt.

Was literally the last one to board my flight because I fukked around and binged The Knick

I think trying to binge watch "Hannibal" could literally drive someone insane. Probably the greatest show currently airing, but not worth the risk of turning into Wil Graham yourself.

I really don't know how some brehs do it. It's one thing if I miss a show and then get put on but to do that with a show I'm into currently and just decide to wait till its over? Nah. That would bug me too much. And @KalKal is right about hannibal. Binge watching that would depress the hell out of me. I'd probably jump off my roof when it was over

there's something to be said about catching a show on premier night and following it the whole time. Both are rewarding experiences. The best in my opinion is randomly stumbling onto a show while watching hbo or showtime or whatever, I did that for Game of Thrones and Dexter. Caught them both randomly on premier night having never heard of either

:dahell: Everyone who has watched "Lost" after it ended (including me) are EXTREMELY positive about the show. It's a lot of the folks who watched it week-to-week when it was on, that shyt on the the show.

yup, I only binge shows I dont start. Im not gonna stop the walking dead and wait for it to end. I watch a bunch of shows I missed when I was younger cause I never start a show mid series or season, Ive gone back and watched....alot of HBO stuff (Wire, Oz) and shows like Lost and Breaking bad the fact that you never have to wait between seasons is huge, im impatient as hell

The only downside is you are unlikely to remember which episode is which since you're watching them back to back, lol.

Definitely, like I can watch Prison Break, Oz, Breaking Bad, etc without the week long breaks or even the season breaks. Even better if its a show that had commercial breaks.:blessed:
