How could one single persons mind create this? Probably the most imaginative thing I have ever seen in my life. Are any parts of the stories derivative? No way one man can possess such imagination.

And the special effects>>>Any of that cgi nonsense in today's movies. In fact, I didn't even much enjoy the new added cgi effects(like the Jabba the Hut scene).

It's more than just the story though. The sheer number of original characters and architecture/objects/settings is just staggering even by today's standard.
