the problem is that it wasn't large enough number to make it a sizable increase.

just because less than a couple thousand set voyage doesn't mean largely they are all black in that area now, if anything if they were integrated into whatever society they met then the "black" part of the lineage has now be washed out and adapted into that other society

the slave trade still happened which is the bulk of where black people came from in the new world, you guys keep trying to adhere to this 'indigenous black" thing like its the norm when its still a rarity

Other than prove black Americans are further removed from Africa than once believed, what narrative are you aiming for here?

My only problem with this theory is where is the evidence we know that Melanesians and Australoids sailed and settled over here in early American history but if African American and Carribean people did descend from these people why do we have so many things culturally in common with West Africa.

Also many of the tribes in the Amazon rainforest are still remote and untouched so why aren’t we getting reports of black indegenous tribes being seen in say Brazil or some other South American country.

Disagree theee might have been some black people here Pre-Columbus and/even Pre-History but not enough that you can climb that black Americans are the true native Americans. It’s similar to the Black Hebrew Israelites BS.Yes there are Black Semites such as Ethiopians and other Horn Africans but African Americans are not direct descendants of those people only cousins to them.
