Might be your server because it downloaded fairly fast for me when I installed it. It was only a 40 min wait period.
you installed it on an X1X over a week ago...he’s installing it on an XSX at launch...thus the vast difference in installation times

I hate that I bought it but since there's no cyberpunk 2077 I had shyt else to play
The game is ok. I like the dense city and overall atmosphere. Taking down albian or clan kelly members picking on regular folks on the streets is fun. The stealth and hacking is about the same as previous titles. The new combat mechanics are cool. The parkour kinda downgraded tho. The news perks and gadgets are fun but i miss my own personal drone. That did so much damage in WD2, I dunno why they removed it. The story is ok. I still don't like that they threw wrench, aiden and fukking assassin creed characters in there to buy but no Marcus. They only put his jacket as a free clothing piece which is bullshyt. Also as some were saying before, they npcs are insane. They're worse than gta pedestrians as far as I'm concerned.
Playing as anyone is a fun concept but it still needs a lot of work. For one thing, some of the people you recruit always have some type of family or friend walking the streets but if you try to recruit them they don't really engage in any intimate discussions, they just talk to them like they're strangers. There's also been the common complaint that their voices don't really line up with their appearance, except when it comes to literally every indian character I have who speaks with a strong pakistani accent, so I dunno if they're being blatantly stereotypical or don't wanna offend that crowd by going all crazy and giving them a whole yardie jamacian or chav accent like they give almost everyone else.
The occupations they have also don't matter to the overall story. For example I mainly play as the spy Lilian that you unlock after you liberated that one borough but in the future when you actually meet another spy she acts like a straight up noob. I understand it'd be complicated to incorporate everyone's occupation into the story but it's still disappointing that it kinda has no relevance outside of being a cool title.
My last petty complaint is that there's no attractive woman in this game AT ALL. Did they go out of their way to make this decision because damn
