The hate mostly comes from the graphics downgrade, the cops being on god mode with the rifle and the story. The story behind his reasoning could've been done better. Iraq as a character could've had more depth and been a longer meaningful adversary.

Should have been the final boss instead of that bullshyt they pulled with the press A to win... you should be fighting dude in a spider digital trip

If it improves on the first like Assassin's Creed 2 did

I don't know if the improvement will be that big of a leap because watch dogs was a better game than that first assassins creed.

I do expect it to be better than the first game though. That first game was boring to me after a while.

World premiere in less than 2 hrs (not talking about that 30 sec ad) this is pretty cool we're getting 3 big budget AAA games with black protagonist on the front (Mafia 3, Battlefield 1 and Watch Dogs 2) I'm excited and will probably get all 3

All they need is to refine the story. There were moments in the first(I think the second or third chapter) that drags. I thought the gameplay was fine(I actual enjoyed the hacking elements and used them as far as evading police and taking out enemies as opposed to it crying about not being able to shot out a moving car like a GTA clone) Just sharpen the story, cut out the glut of side missions, collectibles, and it will be solid
