Maybe my African American friends just don't want their skin color be the main thing to define them but what do I know. You say "their culture" but Swedish, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese etc. etc. Americans have kept their culture but they also accept the American culture and they've become American. The responses by @HipFlickaHop should tell you all you need to know about how Whites see racism. All White people, especially those in America, are racist whether they want to accept it or not, regardless of how many Black friends they have ; it's called social conditioning and no racism does not exclusively mean KKK type of racism.

I see them for what they are. If a certain race thrives off of being parasitic and a cancer to other races, why would any logical person who see it for what it is look at them as nothing other than that? Look up your own history of your people and figure out how much they've actually helped the cultures and people they've came in contact with
