They gave the name unblurred to a former QB of the franchise doing a TV spot.

A franchise icon (Theisman) leaks the name on a national radio show.

A chopper pilot zooms and leaks the name again...

Let’s be honest…all sports team names are corny. You’re just used to them so they sound better.

The only thing is that those team names have been around for at least 20-100 years. Starting up with one of these names now always comes of a corny and off. Imo Washington Football Team worked well simply because it's so different from the general team names that were accustomed to and grew up on
