GSW could have got a much better haul out of Poole even though he isn’t the player he was 2-3 years ago and I think a lot of that is psychological and he needed a change of scenery.

Paul on GSW also makes no sense unless they plan on playing him and Steph side by side.

All that bullshyt hype about “clearing the decks” and “freeing up cap space” for Washington just for them to spend 30 million on Jordan Poole :patrice: is this the kind of so called Wizardry their fans were talking about?
This is actually a good get for the Wiz because it now sets the nucleus of what the team will be for this rebuild. 1 and 2 are set so now they'll be drafting wings and bigs around the tyus poole backcourt.

If Poole takes his role as the man in WSH seriously and shows progression and work ethic then the team could feasibly be built around him, if he regresses or you don't like what you see behind closed doors a team will definitely give up something nice for him and he'll likely bring back more than Beal or KP did, so I get it.

Before this trade though, Wizards were definitely getting an offseason grade of D or F from me.

I don’t know how I feel about this :jbhmm: :jbhmm:
Cp3 off the bench
Then how do you feel about this small ball lineup

Cp3 killing you from midrange at the point

Steph finally playing his true 2 position and being able to catch n shoot a LOT more

Klay also killing you from midrange with CP3

Wiggins slashing and being a problem on defense with the length/athleticism...maybe split those minutes with Kuminga

Looney doing what he do (dray prolly resigns too)

:picard:

Now, they still do NEED another big because Looney gonna die out there by himself, but that's literally it, they'll be able to compete with anyone

How? You see all the free agents available right now?

They needed out of Poole contract since it's clear he's not smart enough to adjust his playstyle

Draymond helped them out too, they're gonna resign him and have money to get another FA

:gucci:GOLDEN STATE IS CAPPED
THE fukk OUT.

THEY CAN LET DRAY WALK
AND THEYLL STILL BE CAPPED
THE fukk OUT.

TRADING CP3 TO SOMEBODY ELSE
IS THE ONLY WAY THEYRE ADDING
SOMEONE.

Because he keeps losing these trades :manny: And blowing his leverage plays … Pooles contract is terrible and you only get a protected pick to take it on? That’s a good use of cap space to you?
They're not planning on being good any time soon. What exactly do you expect them to do with said cap space?

They definitely needed a backup point guard but a 38 year old making $30M a year :scust:

Unless they plan on starting him
