All that bullshyt hype about “clearing the decks” and “freeing up cap space” for Washington just for them to spend 30 million on Jordan Poole is this the kind of so called Wizardry their fans were talking about?

This is actually a good get for the Wiz because it now sets the nucleus of what the team will be for this rebuild. 1 and 2 are set so now they'll be drafting wings and bigs around the tyus poole backcourt.

If Poole takes his role as the man in WSH seriously and shows progression and work ethic then the team could feasibly be built around him, if he regresses or you don't like what you see behind closed doors a team will definitely give up something nice for him and he'll likely bring back more than Beal or KP did, so I get it.

Before this trade though, Wizards were definitely getting an offseason grade of D or F from me.
