Hoegan buried Jarrett on that 1/4/10 IMPACT too after Double J cut that promo about building TNA and how it wasn't supposed to last 6 weeks. Hoegan pretty much told him enough of the gaga and that no one gave a fukk. Seemed kinda cold for Hoegan to cut a promo like that had Jarrett in the ring looking like
what the....
who remembers this shyt!?!?!? 1/4/10!?!?
I think even Kliq stans were like and a lil at Triple H burying Booker.
Here's a question: Does anyone think of hot faces squashing anyone on the roster a complete burial? Like when Stone Cold was at his peak, nikka was out there in God Mode and shyt. There was a match with Chris Benoit on tv that was booked going in as Austin vs a technical wrestler that he couldn't handle.
Next thing you know, this nikka Austin is doing moves like someone edited his moveset. shyt was slow as hell, but they booked Benoit like he was out there with no feet, just walking on ankles and shyt. Austin made him look like he never wrestled before.
shyt had me at the time

It's not the worst burial if they survive it. Rock's burial of Billy Gunn and Jericho rank up there. The HHH burial of Booker T. Orton's burial of Kofi.

Yeah, I never liked that. Especially when it downplays the strengths of whoever they are facing. If the opponent gets to share ring time with a top face, it obviously means they aren't worthless and will/is expected to have a future. Having them look bad compared to the current top guy decreases the chances of him being looked credible in the same light in the immediate future imo.
At least Austin wasn't beating Benoit or Hart with submissions tho on some shyt. Cena and most recently Sheamus beat "top submission wrestlers" via submission for no real reason other than to make them look invincible. I ain't with that but maybe that's just me
Wow i remember that hbk interview from when i was a kod...the "brontasaurus burger" line made me recall it lol
