I would add thrill me and remove hoe gona be a hoe and put thrill me somewhere in the top half of the album and I think it’s 5 mics. I wouldn’t mind if Murda muzik or streets raised me were switched out for some of the better tracks like it’s mine, pyramid points or 3 from nyc tho but regardless with those I think it’s still a classicAbsolute classic.

Facts
P was beasting on Murda Muzik, lyrics and flow
Great analysis
“I peel off, chest naked on Katana’s”
Most rappers start strong then kind of cruise through songs. It always felt like P started off chill then subtly ramped up the intensity of the lyrics and flow until you’re basically listening like: halfway through the third verse lol.
One of favorite songs ever, can’t play it without running it back a dozen times.
Murda Muzik is my personal 2nd favorite Mobb Deep Album behind “Infamous”. It isn’t perfect but I listen with 4 missing tracks sprinkled in where they sound the best to me. I appreciate the retail version for what it is. The track sequencing was much better than the bootleg or review copy, as they were just songs kind of tossed together.
honestly as a Mobb Deep fan, I thought Murda Muzik was underwhelming
that was the album that made me a MOBB fan. who got this OG version
