I had a high school girl that was obviously not long but intense and I stayed in love with her (with knowing life moves on but feelings remain) years after.. second was a girl I met in college that I was with for five years and she loved me and was great but I just wasn’t ready, I cheated on her through college and after and just, yeah I wasn’t ready but she was all about me... then I met my wife now and she completes it, and I’m glad I’m with her for hopefully ever.... at least this is the story I tell myself lol
