Before the later translations of the texts, "lucifer" was just a noun for "shining light/star," and was later put on as a description in Isaiah.
For some reason, the Christians went absolutely ham with story and created some nonsense backstory, and today we have our modern Satan-Lucifer hybrid that has Supreme Control of demons and wreaks havoc around the world
