-- Dave Meltzer speculated on yesterday's Wrestling Observer Radio that Samoa Joe have "pissed someone off" on Smackdown as he is getting "irrationally buried." Meltzer guessed that Joe has long been saddled with horrible material and made it work every time with his strong interview skills so it could be because of his promos. Joe was eliminated in 35 seconds at Survivor Series and then was made to lose via submission last week. We had previously noted over the summer that Joe's mic skills were getting a lot of notice backstage and if Meltzer's guess is true, it may have rubbed someone the wrong way.

-- In case you missed it, WWE has turned Dana Brooke heel again without so much as an explanation to why. WWE has a tendency to ignore any stories or loopholes involving some of their mid-carders and this appears to be another case of that.

The show was bad but what made it worse than any other RAW episode? I've been #nowatchgang for months but I watched last night and the quality was basically the same as it's always been. I didn't hate it but I don't have any expectations so I can't be disappointed. At this point you have to understand Vince has finally achieved his dream of "it's not supposed to be good," so all you can do is turn your brain off and accept this shyt for what it is or don't watch. Every show is horrible but you should just accept it after awhile.

That’s the worst part. Vince can’t book a relatable face. They always leave friends high and dry, put their hard earned title shots up for grabs for no reason just to get a match with a heel, they’re always clueless, never have any depth or real personality, and always try way too hard to smile and pander to the crowd. Honestly, Rocky Maivia and 2006-11 era super cena are the prototypical face that Vince wants.
