He ALWAYS repped the west coast since he dropped..and always showed the east coast love...even AFTER he signed to death row...but he started goin hard cause the EAST COAST was dissin him and he got shot...but he STILL showed the east love...only difference in his reppin was he started reppin LA more after Suge rather than bay....that's it..

You're acting like he was pretending to the public that he was born and raised on the westside which is not true. He always spoke openly on how he was from New York but that the west had a great impact on his personal game.

He started repping the west and L.A. harder after he got out of prison because he kept hearing east coast rappers like Q-tip sh*tting on the west coast. Of course the fact that he was beefing with Bad Boy and BM made him feel even stronger about it.

Also, the Outlawz repped Jersey every other song, including Hit 'Em Up. They never claimed to be from the westside.

Meanwhile, Pac repped 'west coast' on loads of tracks before DR and collaborated with many underground west coast artists, showing them love. After jail, instead of 'west coast', he said 'westside' more to piss off the NY rappers he was beefing with. Is that really so strange to you?

Because I could of sworn he was reppin California by sarcastically shouting out the SF and Marin county police in songs like 'I Don't Give A fukk' and making reference of the Rodney King beating on his first album. He shouts out the bay on 'Rebel Of The Underground' Unless you are from the area, you wouldn't know some of his references like most people wouldn't have any clue where 'marin county' is if you didn't have Google.

People who don't know Pac's music will always make these types of threads. Its either 'he didn't rep the west until later' or 'he never talked gangsta/thug shyt until he got Deathrow' when clearly all that was on his first album and those same people didn't know of him until Deathrow so they assume it applies to everyone.
