And why wasn't he recruited? Normally scouts would've been at West Canaan scouting Harbor since he was the state player of the year as a sophomore and junior. It seemed like Moxon had a better arm and was more mobile. He would've avoided that sack that torn up the rest of Harbor's knee. As a matter of fact, I'm shocked no scouts were there because if they were Wendall Brown wouldn't have had his moms send out game film for him just to get into Grambling of all places. he should've at least got a scholarship to Baylor or Texas A&M if he was that good.

Mox was going to Brown but not to play football. Academic scholarship. I don't think he even liked to play football because if he did, he probably would've transferred to a new high school. In fact, if his dad thought highly of his son he would've known after his son's sophomore year, he was never going to be a starter and moved to a new school district.

in retrospect, moxon was pretty much modeled after peyton manning. same build, same stance and throwing motion, same damn country twang, same goodie-to-shoes ass nikka who wouldn't fukk the whore cheerleader, same brainy dude who probably thought too much but unlike peyton dude stepped up and didn't choke in crunch time so to him for that. and word to him having wendell's back when kilmer was on his shyt and ready to painkill his players intoo career suicide while in their teens..

lance arbor was easily on his matt stafford shyt, where he could dominate in high school and prolly in college too, but woulda been a wild gunslinger in the NFL (minus a future HOF WR like megatron and the rest of Detroit's talent) so he woulda probably would bounced around the league before drinking himself out of the league and ending up being the manager at wal-mart and coaching JV football like his ol' girl said...

I loved this movie... Kilmer was a b*stard who deserved every inch of mox's defiance... He didnt have no choice but to start mox. and mox got defiant got tired of kilmer's bullshyt...

The only thing i would have loved is if mox punched the shyt outta kilmer before he kicked him out of the locker room towards the end.
