One of the craziest gimmick changes...

Legit didn't even know it was Bradshaw when he first came out as JBL :dead:

He was a fukking good heel cos I absolutely hated him.. and on the mic he was pretty fkn good at getting heat. Way more tolerable than HHH at that time..

His matches with Eddie Guerrero were good too.. and had some pretty epic brawls in the main event, god damn that one with cena..

He could take a fukking beating but could also hand one out too 😂

That fool was wyldin back then...I've been enjoying him popping up in the little bit of TNA I've seen..I still remember when he was Justin hawk Bradshaw, before WWE, and then the new black jacks with Windham...

The change of character was so drastic...he was still a cowboy for awhile before the switch.

Him just being a cowboy would have never worked out long run...

In hindsight yes but the title reign made JBL. He wasn’t nowhere near over/ready for that belt when he got it.

After the reign ended he was a made man but surprisingly never had another title reign which is crazy.

didnt they feud him with boogeyman shortly after?:pachaha:

Not directly. He went Cena to Batista.

Knew he wasn’t taking the belt off Batista just like HHH wasn’t Cena but people like The Great Khali were champ around that time :scust:

I'll give them grace on Khali. They didn't want Batista to be champion again and too many guys were injured. Realistically speaking, Kennedy should have been champion after Undertaker took time off.

JBLs run in 2008-9 was good after going away for a couple yrs. I'll always remember one Raw when he absolutely beat the fukk out of Hornswoggle and that was kind of the beginning of the end of the big Hornswoggle push
