Guess I have a different take.

Man was causing self harm. I wouldn't assist someone in finding an avenue to continue harming themselves.

I also don't agree with the woman.

It would've been a neutral reaction.

if he were black and she was Hispanic. Maybe i would’ve said something. In the situation you posted I’m minding my business
