Had to do some research, Eminem stole a best from DMX when he was writing his first album for d-12. That album came out in 2001. It was called Devils night. Eminem attacked a group called Limp bizkit ( I don't know them). Limp bizkit or whatever worked with DMX on a previous album. They had a best and Eminem used that beat. I'm not sure if this is the main reason. But it's whatever.

Never of heard of limp bizkit? What world have you been living in? They only have the highest first week sales for a rock band. You sir can kiss my chocolate starfish

:what: Son how old are u? U never heard of Limp Bizkit? U gotta be extremely young cause they was fukkin everywhere. U couldn't have missed them if u tried to. OP gotta be young as fukk too.

Fam, I'm close to 30. I just was never into the heavy rock metal stuff. The only white groups I remember is Nsync, backstreet boys and green day. I just never paid attention, to anything outside of rap, Hip-hop and R&B.

Nobody knows if he & Ruff Ryders brought that tho. It was outside the studio. That's actually when Big U's (Rollin 60 OG) brother died if im not mistaken. It was in Miami around '99 where X recorded
most of his 3rd album in & Kurupt did some recording too there.

What ended up happening is that Snoop brought them together and quickly peaced it out before it got more hectic.

They had a press conference and all in late late 1999 or early early 2000 where Snoop headed it and Kurupt, X and them was there. Came an article on
some paper about that.

But X actually mentioned that Kurupt song in his "One More Road" documentary for his 3rd album that came '99/'00. He also
mentions the Denver stabbing he became a suspect for during the Hard Knock Life tour.

Skip to 20:28 for the Kurupt mention

And he did not have any beef with Eminem. White people believe that cuz X says the word "slim" in the song, like seriously :comeon:..not knowing
slim is old slang and is like "dude" or whatever.

One of my absolute favorite West Coast albums. I remember 92.3 played this song back to back to back. If this was the first Kurupt album after leaving Death Row Records he would've gotten to where we placed him from the og Chronic albums to Doggfood. It was always said how nice Kurupt was as an MC back then but then he released that bloated album in 98. But atleast we got "We Can Freak it "and C-Walk off his first Solo release.
That Callin' names was a scathing diss ro DMX and Irv Gotti. "Try to sign Daz, nikka Daz'll sign you" I also learned how to "Crop-Walk" of this song.
