It was a weird time for BET. they were transitioning away from all the traditional shows like Video Soul, Planet Groove, etc and they were just filling time slots..

They had this... Hits From The Street...sometimes there would just be a random sitcom playing...they put all of their focus into Rap City(which had just moved to Tha Bassment) and 106 & Park...they even had a Tonite Show style show with Michael Colyar that didnt last very long.

How they fumbled Comic View is beyond me. I only watched BET for Rap City, Tha Bassment, Hits from the street (Ineedmoney), and 106. That shyt devolved so much I started watching MTV which was a good channel back then

Made, True Life, Daria, Celebrity Deathmatch, Making the Video, Diary, TRL.
Back before all the fukkery.
