Shooting police officers because they were trying to snuff you out (He got off on that case if I'm not mistaken) doesn't make it "gangster". but I already can peep that you think Pac's actions and words were flawless and you ready to ride for him. so :whoa: chill breh, I want no beef. you got it. Pac was the gangster he said he was. You right.
:whoa:I can't Stan Pac to those levels that you're looking for breh. :mjcry:
Sorry to disappoint you. :mjcry:

:umad: Pac jumped gang bangers and shot cops. Drake got snuffed by puffy and pee'd on. Being wild and about that life =/= gangsterism :umad:

That's how these situations work, to be honest I'm surprised Drake doesn't have a Rihanna-esque writing team

but basically they'll work with a promising up-in-coming writing talent for a project, then when the well-runs dry or they're ready to switch up styles they bring someone else in

man yall digging too much and just going to disappoint yourselves. yall keep saying "No, not my favorite rapper. he ain't no drake" but you'll be surprised at how many people actually behind your favorite spitter.

I don't care, it isn't a secret because they clearly getting credit. just enjoy the music, fukk the rapper. Drake a fraud, Meek a fraud, Hell even Pac (rest in peace) faked on some hardcore shoot a nikka gangster shyt and he was never truly about that. rap world is all about an image, meek doesn't understand that and think that "being real" is more important than "being successful".

You nikkas want real? Start digging underground and supporting indie artists, until then. fukk ya'll and this fake ass rap shyt, just give me good music to listen to.

Man dont drag Pac into this

Anyone FROM Toronto would tell you that...

Hush AKA Young Tony was an underground rapper in Toronto's early 2000s rap scene and Drake himself used to say that Hush was one of his favorite rappers from the city when he was growing up. If you followed the Toronto rap scene during the early 2000s, Young Tony was a hot rapper and well known.. doing local tours, downtown clubs, etc,

I can't pull up youtube clips now but if you check Scarborough + Young Tony, you should be able to find some of his early stuff. Dude was VERY slick with the punchlines and very witty with his bars.. it's no secret that Drake is as well. He ended up getting shot and fell back from the music scene when his man also got murdered....but it was also during this time that Drake started buzzing with Comeback Season locally and was gearing up for So Far Gone that Hush and Drake linked up.... I am 10000% positive that he has penned full tracks and bars for Drake and it's the sole reason he's around Drake and his team.

Tony was my favourite rapper in like 2006 too :laff:

I legit looked up to him.

Deep Pockets was decent. Tony was the only nice one.

05 Toronto Rap scene was peak. When Mayhem dropped Back to the Future, streets went crazy, but now he a snitch. Califate was dope and so was The Corps. Scartown Stick up on Project Bounce brings back memories. I use to fukk with DJ Wikked, he'd leak me some C4 and Califate tracks on low. Ya boy Big Biz use to be on Project Bounce too.

Rest of the scene was dope too. Empire was cool. Nem-S-Sis was decent too.
