I love how when a white man (Dustin Rhodes) becomes an effeminate character he is considered a GOAT but a black man does it and goes one week before its "c00ning". There isnt a single one of us he sold out by doing this gimmick. He like a lot of us on here probably grew up as a Prince fan. He gets to portray something he is a fan of and get PAID for it. Revisit this again when he comes out with a noose around his neck or in a chain gang.

There are actually people here who claim that New Day is c00ning but Cryme Tyme wasn't. A lot of people here really don't understand that word. Or people will throw that word around only if they don't like the wrestler.

dusty rhodes is 1 in a million.. theres several "normal" white characters

whereas the vast majority of black characters are dancing in some capacity or making a fool of themselves

im not gonna call this character c00ning just yet because I have to see more from it, but lets not act like they didnt have this nikka with a trump supporter gimmick so im not putting anything past them to give him something that deliberately sabotages him

That Trump shyt was c00ning definitely. There is no question about that. I will say that that character would have been a good source of heat for all the wrong reasons.

But for this gimmick which is still less than a year old and only on tv a handful of time, caling it c00nery is a stretch.

KOTR 85 was won by The Rock, who had faced JYD in one of the earlier rounds in the tourney. You are thinking of the Wrestling Classic tourney (which is the 2nd ever WWF PPV,) which was held in Nov of 85, which we now know as Survivor Series.

As a Cac, can I ask, what type of gimmick's should Black pro wrestlers be aiming to do, that come off original and won't be seen as .

MVP and the Nation were good, but there could be more balance. And Apollo crews could definitely pull of a black-RVD type of super cocky-athletic type. They don't seem to let black wrestlers pull of the generic Batista-Lesner "badass role". I remember making a thread about Patrick Clarke's character sometime last year...it seems like it's been slightly refined into being a bit more of a Stephen Tyler from Aerosmith/Prince type of androgynous rockstar character but not fully pause-worthy. There just needs to be more alpha black male characters to balance this character out.
