Not sure what kind of royalty checks he's expecting for the MWTC movie given he wasn't on the soundtrack and the actual movie I don't think sold many units. Guessing he might mean "Doggystyle" since "Indo Smoke" is featured on that album in the intro for the song MWTC.

I've always found it fascinating that he could be in such proximity to Dre, and he aint never really gave Warren a co-sign. Like ain't they step brothers or something? In that era Warren G had some heat and was a pretty good producer on his own. It seems like they would've been like a "hand in glove fit" for the G-Funk sound of the time. As successful as Deathrow was they fumbled a lot of potentially legendary opportunities. Think about an in house production team of:
Dr. Dre
Daz
Warren G
DJ Quik
What else do you even need? That's the Motown's "The Corporation" levels of production, Gamble and Huff level shyt. That production team makes Bad Boy's "Hitmen" team or No Limit's "Beats by the Pound" look like grade school T-Ball vs Deathrow"s New York Yankees

Pretty clear that Dre dont fukk with Warren like that. Not sure of the reason but its been speculated on the net that it may have something

to do with Dre losing his real older brother. I guess it was hard to let another brother in life or he didnt want to feel like he replaced his passed brother, i unno.

But its very weird from the outside-lookin-in

#1 He wasnt on Murder Was The Casse

Indo Smoke was in the movie itself, not the soundtrack. Like I pointed out, I'm not sure how much in royalties he's expecting from the movie since it didn't sell anything close to what the soundtrack did.
