This was a great album to ride at night to. The production still sounds fresh til this day.

You can tell he wanted to go in a completely different direction and it worked. This was also his last good album imo.

You didn't like Return of the Regulator?

I'm always so confused on Warren G's career. If he signs with without Death Row he probably never gets a release date regardless of Regulators. But if he does come out on DR I feel like he gets an even bigger push even though he went triple platinum on a dying "DEF Jam". Just goes to show how huge the whole " G-funk era " was. But the album wasn't just a product of hype or affiliation. It was a great album especially sonically.

Grossly overlooked album. It has songs that just shouldn't work come off flawless.

Bout to run it back then play In The Midnight Hour cause that album had some joints on it too
albums production was really good ...warren just didnt rap gangster so didnt fit into the box back then
