Yes. A grizzly or grizzlies killed him and his woman. They found dude's arm in the stomach of one of the grizzlies. The arm still had the watch on it. Dude literally did not know what time it was hanging around grizzlies, even though he had a watch on.

The crazy thing is my parents have been telling me the neighborhood watch so a bear two houses down from them.
I think the change of people habits is bringing them further in the neighborhood
