You really like shifting the goal posts. First is Cubans can’t buy their own groceries …. Burned that down. Then they can’t go into good stores burned that down…. I respect you as far as I know your posts but the fact that because YOU dont see it you dont think its true is telling. I dont know if your situation is that you got family members over there that are government officials or registered Communist party members, cause THAT would make sense as to why your immediate family isnt struggling and dont need your help. While I do respect your willingness to try and poke holes into a story to get to the bottom of it, I think your energy is off on this. Go back, without your kids, stay somewhere by yourself and really get a feel for whats going on in 2023. 34k people didnt cross into this country in November alone cause things are "manageable" right now. Well I’m practically a Republican so far from left leaning. I just speak facts the way I see it. I got no government officials in my family. My wife is from Tercer frente, so no where near a major city so I know the trenches. I usually stay in Santiago when I go or tercer frente or both. Now I hear things are worse and I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt on that but that is all Covid and nothing to do with the government and police state and yadda yadda. I stayed a week and didn’t go out much because of my son And hadn’t been since before pandemic. so most of what I’m basing things off of is before pandemic.

They're discussing bringing back the laws against vagrancy aka forced employment with the state under penalty of jail or heavy fines for noncompliance. Its alot of shyt going on right now. I will tell you right now I was shocked that Santiago is visibly cleaner and under better control than Havana is. Havana is a kettle thats about to pop right now, its really bad. Ill link some videos from IG later on but the kids eating cats and the dudes selling human flesh is just the tip of the iceberg.
