Warner Bros. Want Ben Affleck To Direct Justice League Film

Warner Bros. wants Ben Affleck to direct 'Justice League', reports Variety - Batman-News.com

Variety reports that Ben Affleck will be meeting with Warner Bros. executives in the next few days to talk about directing the upcoming Justice League movie. Back it June it was reported that the script was being worked on by Will Beall, and so far Affleck is the only director who has been given the chance to read it. With Christopher Nolan walking away from Batman it seems like Warner Bros. is eager to get the ball rolling with a Justice League movie. I like his style tho, his movies aren't big explosive blockbusters, they're more low key and id prefer that to something like Avengers.

Exactly. I see no problem with this. I'm more worried about Snyder with the MOS than I would be with Afleck directing a JL movie.

This isn't a bad choice though. He's a solid director. WB wanted him to direct Man Of Steel and he turned it down. They've been eying dude for a while.

Affleck has directed 2 quality movies and another that has pretty good buzz in Argo so if he were to get the directing gig I wouldn't have any issues with it.
And he'd make a better Green Lantern than Ryan Reynolds if he was inclined to star in the flick too.
