legendary pullout sounds like one of my close calls
Ok, weirdo, whatever you say. This the internet I can say what I want, only way to stop me is to kill me
They couldn’t do a Monsterverse right tho. And they had Cruise and Crowe.

The movie was average at best. Don’t know how that’s Tom’s fault. That was Tom Cruise's fault. Universal turned a movie about street racing into 10 films and billions at the box office.
Plus, they got Nolan now, something WB will never have again.
Tom Cruise only cares about a project when he's producing and starring in it.The movie was average at best. Don’t know how that’s Tom’s fault.
The movie was the problem, aka the script wasn’t good enough to start a Universe. Tom wasn’t the problem.Tom Cruise only cares about a project when he's producing and starring in it.
That wasn't the case with The Mummy. It was just stat padding Tom, picking up a movie role, wanting to keep those grossing numbers up.
It wasn't a passion project, so we got an unmotivated Tom Cruise.

Shortly after the film opened, Variety reported that Cruise had excessive control over the film and firm control of nearly every aspect of production and post-production, including re-writing the script and editing to his specifications, telling Kurtzman how to direct on set, and enlarging his role while downplaying Boutella's.
And that’s the studios damn fault for allowing an actor to affect their future.
If Tom Cruise wanted a script that was up to snuff he could have made that happen!! Easily!!
He didn't!! Which only leads me to believe he didn't care about the movie from jump!!

If this is true then The Mummy is 1000% Tom Cruise's fault. He ruined a whole universe.

Reports from back then say the opposite. Most everyone said Cruise tried his damndest to save that movie
