Honestly, I think that if this were men's college ball, I'd agree with you.

But with the women's platform still being pretty small (in relation to the men's game) until recently, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there are lots of players having dirt they've been sitting on because they didn't want to nuke whatever career they could put together back then, and then just moving on because it's been too long.
