You all worrying about Google tracking you; but your ISP knows every footprint you have ever placed on the internet. It's the same shyt, they know everything we do!
societal mores will have to change to allow popular comfort with the new information/privacy paradigm
because the markets needs it too

I think this is something we are already seeing with how careless teens are with their info on the web, they have learned not to give a fukk about certain incumbent values already.

...but i don't let this give me a false sense of security. just cause they don't show it on their site doesn't mean google, verizon and anyone else with access to cell tower info isn't data mining the info off my galaxy s4...edward snowden already told us what up...

Lol @ thinking, I'll just turn GPS off...you're tracked regardless...now you just won't have access to your history.

:bryan:

The only real solution is stop using Google, Apple, M$...but that will only get you so far...

google is going to win
they are too useful
I once was in backwoods Pennsylvania, in the winter, snow on the ground, at night. I could hear the damn banjos

as I drove my rental on the dirt roads. My cheap ass android phone with my cheesy 1g signal(which was sporadic since the TREES and Mountains were blocking it), got me to the inn I was traveling with no issues
I almost kissed the ground when I got there and realize that our google overlords won
information is the future, they own it

iPhone, international user, use Gmail app all the time, no location history in past 30 days (despite spending 2 weeks in the US during that period). *fist pump*

Most of you will turn it back on when you need it.

Also, unless you disappear off the grid for like 10 years, close all your bank accounts, get paid in cash for the rest of your life, and never use any kind of telecommunications for the rest of your life...if the government or any agency REALLY wanted to find you, you'd be found.

There are far more scary things to worry about that Google tracking you lol.
