I totally get this and it's a very valid point.....I legit don't even have an argument against it besides the fact that I don't know what he's written and what he hasn't written. The Nas ghostwriting accusations hurt me at first and my first thought was "this is bullshyt" but I've come to accept that it's probably true to some extent.......then when I accepted it I had to ask myself, what does this change, is this guy still my favorite artist? For whatever reason his music connects with me more than any other artist.....


I dunno I've just accepted it......that's what's been going on since the beginning of time.

All of your points are absolutely valid, and I wouldn't knock anyone for keeping Drake or Nas as their favorite. People just can't put Drake in their GOAT lists if this is true.

In a genre where we try to objectively name a GOAT and rank things, having ghostwriters hurts them, as it should. And holding the best rappers to this standard is important. We have to keep that integrity in rap, otherwise what's the point? We've already lost the need for authenticity and other important parts. We can't lose this too.

And the industry is shady, and I've heard plenty of stories like yours.
