Meek isn't doing this for hip hop. He's not doing this for the culture. He's doing it because either Drake didn't tweet a link to his album or he missed a homecoming concert. Let's not make this seem like a noble gesture on Meek's part
The WHY only matters to bloggers and E! as long as the WHAT is true. V. Stiviano did the NBA a service, even if she was a money-grubbing attention whore. Meek is exposing Drake's fraud act even if it's because he's being emotional about album sales, appearances, or even his girl.

I used to be of the school of thought that having ghostwriters was some wack shyt but like I told people on twitter.....ghostwriting has been apart of rap since the beginning, literally. The first rap record, Rappers Delight contained ghostwritten raps from Grandmaster Caz (I'm over charging nikkaz for what they did to the Cold crush). They literally took that man's rhymes and spit them like they wrote them. Anytime you commercialize an art form it's compromised and although at one time people tried to pretend to "keep it real", most weren't.

When it comes to celebrities, the public idealizes people & are just victims of Law 32 in 48 Laws of Power: Play to people's fantasies. For example, Many of u guys wanted to see Sanaa Lathan as this nice wholesome girl then she pops up in instragram hammered sitting on French Montana's lap. The Chronic isn't any less dope or classic because RBX wrote Let Me Ride and DOC, Snoop, Kurupt etc wrote just about everything else. Snoop is a legend and has openly used ghostwriters his entire career. Lil Kim-Crush on You isn't any less dope because Cam'ron wrote it.....Method man wrote Ghostface's verse for “Cherchez La Ghost.”..Eazy E spit "Ice cube writes the rhymes that I say" Rap's been like THIS. Someone tell me Eric B's role in Eric B & Rakim other than being NYC's Suge Knight? Large P, Marley Marl & Rakim did most of the beats breh. Ghost DJing exist too.....Me and my OG legit ghost dj'd someone's mixtape. Put their drops on it & everything. LOL Story seems like poetic justice....whole YM has been accused of having Ghostwriters. Gillie/Wayne, Safaree/Nicki, now it's just Drake's turn. At the end of the day Drake is probably the greatest rap artist of this generation next to Kendrick.....tonight didn't change that for me.

It's time to just accept that the game is smoke and mirrors......believe half of what you see, none of what you hear. Just enjoy the music for what it is because more often than not your favorite celebrity/artist isn't what you thought they were. Many of you are probably just realizing Santa isn't real......at 29 I realized along time ago.

Remember the backlash when @fwmj & @dreamhampton told everyone Jay Electronica & Stic Man from Dead Prez ghostwrote "N1gger" for NaS?

that backlash was an example of how far people will go to the length to believe in the fantasy that their favorite artist is God (and Nas is my favorite rapper too)

It doesn't matter.....
What if I told you Jay Z wrote Nas' first 4 lines on Black Republican and the hook to Hip Hop Is Dead too?

but he is still thanking God for what he has, thats still better than nothing, friend.
You Don't thank god for the leeway he gives you to misuse your Freaking Blessings FRIEND. Pardon my language but I get so freaking fired up when I hear filth like that. God gave meek mill talent and meek used it demonic ally and now he wants to thank God for not completely destroying him while he continues to blaspheme his blessings with lines like

"She wanna F and I say churrrrrrch, preach"

What is that? Who says Filth like that with a smile on their face? Hes not talking about his wife. A man under demonic influences friend thats whI.

Let's pray for God to make meek more like friends Because pride comes before the fall
its so demonic, friend.

Meek bytches on Twitter as much as Drake bytches in his music... And it was no way Meek was going to get away with the "I was hacked" excused... All of those exclamation points were a dead giveaway that it was really him....

He said on IG he wasn't hacked, he wasn't playing.

At this point I just enjoy the music for what it is.....I'm 29 years old man. I know some of my favorite songs are ghostwritten.......I've accepted Santa wasn't real along time ago.

Expecting Hip Hop in it's purest form from a major label designed to make money is hilarious. If you want rap in it's purest form go to a local cypher or gathering where there's break dancing and djing.

Philly. Fucc a Eagle. I mean dat.
3 years is nothing. To take off like he did? Room For Improvement was solid at best and the game was still regional back then so no one was checking for a Canadian artist.

All I'm saying, 3 years, 1 Lil WAyne cosign and all of a sudden he's the biggest in the game? think about that for a second. It took Ye' three albums and loads of #1s (true #1s not hip and rnb #1s) to get HUGE. And even then it can't compare. Drake was selling out 15k a night off a mixtape. Grammy nominated off a mixtape.

Clear as day he was a plant.
Wayne was the biggest in the game at that point and SFG was a critically acclaimed mixtape since its drop. Maybe, just maybe people legit felt it and him and he shot up.

it was also the end of the huge G-unit craze (and others) and Drake was something different at the time.
Add that to the Lil Wayne co-sign and its prety straightforward IMO.

He's was also pushed hard after that cuz they could make money off of him.
