What if Jay Z is behind this because Drake bounced from Tidal to Apple? :ohhh:

Jay Z is the boss of Roc Nation, Meek Mill's management :krs: and Big Sean's management :krs: maybe that's where they got the reference track for Blessings :krs: :krs:

Drake is getting too strong and too independent. He dropped a mixtape and didn't do any press, no video, no radio, told Birdman to fukk off. Can't set a precedent here  the real owners sent word through Jay to take down the 6god

Who benefits from Drake being exposed? You think Meek is really mad cause Drake spit a ghostwritten verse, like Meek is a hippa-hoppa 5-elements of kultcha universal zulu nation bboy now?

Why would someone leak the audio? What did they gain? Money? Who paid? Meek don't got it like that.

Maybe Beatrice paid em :ohhh:

Thugger got arrested, Aubrey exposed,
Wayne, they coming for you

Birdman can't even type coherent sentences though, he couldn't have masterminded this alone ..

The days of showing no mercy towards shyt like this are over. This generation, and it's rappers aren't grimy these days. I'm guessing there was a situation where Kendrick, Big Sean, ASAP Rocky and others knew, but just left it alone because A) ol boy isn't a bad guy behind the scenes, and co-signed them on their come up, B) Like it or not, a feature for him is more listeners, sales, and money, and C) he has people to feed just like them. Also they probably see it all the time in the industry. I'm assuming Kendrick (while never going to reveal who he was talking about) most likely said what he said on King Kunta because he and Drake don't talk anymore. He wrote it because he knew Drake would hear it.

Like others said, this might leave a scratch on his career, but he's gonna be aight. It's funny to clown the nikka like he don't write any of his shyt, but all jokes aside I'm sure Drake wrote raps for other people (not just songs like Unthinkable by Alicia Keys, but actual raps). Everybody has their own style, and take on what direction someone should go on a record. My guess is Drake writes songs like Too Much, Look What You've Done, 2nd half of 0 to 100, You & The 6 etc with little to no help. While songs like Energy, Used To, Worst Behavior he gets help. Compare So Far Gone or Comeback Season (projects he probably got some help on, but not much) to his recent records. I'm sure there has been growth, but the bigger he got (pause), the more of an investment he became. Thus the need for more writers, and ghostwriters (who sign non disclosure agreement contracts).

Logically, You should have your ghostwriters name on some songs, but not on every song in the credits. There are people who read them, and that would only raise eyebrows. At this point though, Drake probably could imitate his writers' style, and have a great verse/song though. I bet leaked reference tracks are going to become a thing, and more are going to surface from him, and other artist throughout the rest of this year.
