I don't believe anything is perfect but the American economic system is definitively better than most of the world.
If they don't like they can always quit no?
Or they can go on strike , no?

aka exercise the freedoms that make the nation tolerable.

just like Walmart can exploit poor education and economic policies........... These people can exploit the things that make our system better than the world.

In most cases suppressing living wages and taking advantage of systems simply for greed and profit (what does a mf need w 3 billion dollars, lol???) takes away from a nation. If we had more middle class and less poor class America would be 800x better than the rest of the world.

Company has every right to fire them for missing work.

:upsetfavre: Some slippery language here.

What do you consider a "
slight attempt":leostare:
What do you mean exactly when you say "
all"? literally "all" as in every single person? :leostare:
and define "
ok" :leostare:

lol, slight would be anything better than what we're doing.

I want my walmart employees happy....lol, I can't expect the bish to not have an attitude behind the counter at 9/hr in LA county. If an leader is pulling in 500 million.... Will it completely suck the motivation our of all Americans for his employees to get a couple dollars raise and him to get a miserable pitiful 450million.. or depressing 400million???

and I agree about the living wage comment though... I don't think fast food should get 15 n shyt like that.

@Chris.B I hope they do get fired.... or something crazy happens... thats the only way people will actually give a fukkk and make change.

Serious talk. @DEAD7 it is ground for legislation, revolution, and reform of the entire TAX and ecnomic system. Wealth gaps like this does not make the nation stronger or more unified... it doesn't help social economically depressed situations either.

We need to start appreciating low wage workers. If I'm a teen I wanna work at fast food, if I'm an uneducated adult Walmart should at least pay me something above 8 bucks, so that I will do a better job and keep making them billions of dollars.

I for one appreciate that I can travel and go to a nice clean hotel room and get people to bring me food, clean the bathroom, bring towels, n shyt.

We can't enjoy the luxuries of living here without appreciating the people behind that and only Adoring the CEO's behind it.
NTM, I don't want those bishes kids trying to rob me one day and I I'm forced to kill one of my own or an Hispanic youth.

Any person who is black shouldn't even have to pay taxes anyway.... further more anyone working for a company who enjoys tax incentives like this shouldn't have to pay taxes, regardless of race.

Who do you think writes the legislation? It's the lobbyists that work for these mega corporations. But people like you would rather beat up on low wage workers or belittle their attempts to organize and use their collective bargaining power to demand better wages.

:dwillhuh: and you hold the big business's responsible? not your elected officials who took an oath of office?:lupe:

:snoop:Lemme guess, you dont think the same officials elected by the people to serve the people, can make lobbying illegal?

:ohhh:Then again, if big business is going to draw the ire, why stop the cash flow:lolbron:

Atheist for Jesus
Wal-Mart aint changing shyt:heh:
These workers are basically saying i'd rather rely 100% on the state then work for min wage. Which is fine, but far from noble.

lol what part of what walmart is doing is noble? If i understand anything about your get yours i get mine view of things you have NO REASON NOT TO support the workers attempting to use their skills and marketability to effectively work some more money out of walmart, after all isn't that exactly what walmart is doing/did to them.

AT THE VERY LEAST you should be indifferent to this entire situation. If walmart caves then they did so because of the market, if they don't then they did so because of the market, regardless of the outcome you should be happy either way.

Why then the animosity towards the workers.

$8/hr <<<<<<<$0 when you're INVESTING a few pay checks to ultimately be making $15/hr. You saying workers can't invest in their own future's now?
