Gillie and Wallo are only about themselves. This event is no different.

You see Gillie didn’t mention anything about charity and how disappointed he is the event was ruined; it was “look at what me and Wallo did and this is how y’all treat us”.

They’re both self-serving dudes who hit a lick during the podcast boom. Nothing more, nothing less.

You can’t say you’re for uplifting the community and promote liquor, weed, and gambling as your main sources of ad revenue. The crowd at this event is just acting how people under the influence of all three of those usually act :manny:

The only thing that redeemed Wallo from being complete goofy is him trying to enlighten Shiesty Pooh (whatever his fukking name is, and that went on deaf ear):

Beyond that, dude is a clout chasing smart dumb goofy that had jawns lined up in front of a Target for a shopping spree, only to stood them bytches up :dead:

Why??? The people that were in attendance are the exact same type of people that Gillie and Wallo are. You think just because they've "made it" they've all of a sudden become better men. Gillie's lil rant should let you know just how much of an impulsive dummy he really is. That shyt could've started a riot.

This some of the goofiest shyt I’ve read this month. A lot of y’all just like them nikkas that disrupted the event.

I legit feel bad for Gillie & Wallo

I JUST saw a clip of Wallo talking to some goon looking ngga they brought to the CU game :mjtf: My thought was ‘why is he even there, man I really hate how beholden they are to the streets’

It’s a cultural problem. The ideology is inherently flawed: ‘ima be the most educated uplifting ngga in the hood’. Its an oxymoron

So you don’t even know the nikka but are condemning him based on what he look like?

This was in Wilmington Delaware, I love the fact Delaware is on the come up with more people trying events out there but nikkas not used to anything and are looking to do the most I lived in Dover and we had 1 club that had to be permanently shut down due to repeated violence

I think people should be able to go to events and have a good time without bullshyt happening but I agree with you about Gillie. His speech added nothing to this and the people who were there and did nothing should be offended. Don’t group me in with that bullshyt, it’s up to you to make sure your event happens with no issues.

Y'all don't think about how shyt like that impacts the venue owners and the people throwing it? Doesn't matter if it was "outside" if it was still on the property/immediately vicinity of the event.

For all we know they mighta had to BEG the city to let them do this with all kinds of promises that nothing like this would happen, that's usually how it is throwing events with a predominantly black base. It's not a good look for future events either

The level of responsibility is different when you're in charge of an event, you can't do the "it wasn't me tho :hubie: " defense, that's bottom of the food chain talk and will get your ass locked up or fined if the wrong thing happens under your watch

For all you know the venue owners could've told them to shut it down immediately, you can't just interpret it as them personally shutting it down just because they're upset. Let them come out and tell us they had the final say and it was a personal choice

Been watching battle rap leagues lose venues for ages because they can't control/trust everyone to do the right thing
This.

shyt like this is how bars lose their liquor license then eventually close. It’s actually worse to have shyt happen outside your event than inside because there’s mad innocent bystanders out there.

I disagree. The hood is made up of all types of people. Now if you said the streets, then that's different. But Wallo isn't in the streets, so that wouldn't apply to him.

True…thats what I mean tho. Wallo is constantly preaching his sermon to nggas in the streets

It all goes back to the elephant in the room that Wallo has mentally surpassed the streets and Gillie too. The sky is the limit for someone like Wallo. I could see him a billionaire in 10 years, I could see him a politician …but he/the culture is too beholden to ‘the hood/streets’ so he’s hosting a “KO party” that gets shot up
