You don't get what I'm saying, I'm saying the US and China are both authoritarian countries. But one of them has lifted millions out of poverty and has used the wealth they gained to help citizens. The other one has the most prisoners of any country, has failing infrastructure they refuse to fix, and uses their wealth to engage in war with some of the poorest people on the planet.
