Future is carried by production more than any mainstream rapper I’ve ever seen. I won’t lie and say he’s never made songs that I like, but Nikas go way too far trying to rank him as an actual viable artist with an elite skill set. When ppl try to rank him as one of the grades I really don’t see what’s so great about him.

Yes he is…. His production got better over the years. Once he started working with Metro and Southside full time, u saw the difference. His beats got more darker.


Future is a melodies artists. I don’t expect him to have some Cassidy esque level of bars though.

I think the consistency and work ethic is what helped Future remain relevant.


Dude’s career took off into a another stratosphere after he got new life Monster/DS2.

He saw the mistake on the Honest album and fixed it

AB ain’t wrong. she’s got great insight. Wale should have been doing way more Afrobeats stuff instead of trying to prove how “DC” he is.

Why would Wale do more with afrobeats? By that logic busts rhymes and biggie should have done more with dancehall and reggae since they both Jamaican. When wale came out the current afrobeats sound wasn’t even patterned like that, like I doubt he would know what to do with the beats
