Everyone, everywhere, were what we call black people. Going back perhaps millions of years.

During their expansion they encountered indigenous black people (and other hominins) and mixed with them. Probably mixed with blacks in what's now china first, the resulting hybrids are asians. The oldest mulattos.

They encountered blacks on the way to Australia and you have the aborigines. They didn't mix much tho. Just enough to give you the genetics you see with the straight hair etc.
