I wouldn't because I'm too private of a guy but I can easily understand why they both posted. Twitter is the new phone call for a LOT of people. You can quickly confirm things for everyone one time and go grieve in peace without the stress of having to reply to every text or call asking is it true/can they do anything for you etc.
